What style(s) do you specialize in?
My favorite style is shooting portraits. I love how one photo of an individual, in their element, can tell an amazing story! Capturing a couple or a family in a small snippet of time, lets it stand still for a moment.
Will the photos be retouched and color balanced? Is that done before I see the proofs?
All photos are edited for style and uniformity before proofs are shown.
Do you shoot both digital and film?
I shoot exclusively on a DSLR (digital) camera. It allows the highest quality with the most versatility when editing.
What exactly is included in your packages?
Each wedding photo package is tailored for your big day. The standard package includes the full wedding day of shooting (up to 8 hours) and either a bridal or engagement portrait session.
How many hours of coverage do we get? What is the charge for overtime?
The standard is 8 hours on the wedding day. The cost for additional hours is $175 per hour.
What is the deposit and total fee?
Once we agree on a price for your custom package, your deposit is 25% of the total.
Will you be my actual photographer, or will it be one of your associates?
No associates! The person you talk to about your wedding day is the person who’ll be there shooting it all…ME!
Will there be a second shooter or any assistants? Is there an additional fee for each (if applicable)?
There may be a second shooter, depending on what your day consists of. However, that will be covered in your overall price.
How long after the wedding do we get to see the photos?
Typical turnaround time is 2 weeks on digital proofs. However, we rarely take that long to set up your proof viewing.
How many weddings do you do a weekend?
If it’s your wedding weekend, your wedding is the ONE I’m shooting!
Will you follow a shot list? Or do you prefer to have free reign to capture the festivities how you see fit?
Although you might not think you want a shot list, bets are, you have some specific shots in mind! So, in our one-on-one before your wedding, we’ll map out several “MUST HAVE” shots.
What are the restrictions for sharing photos online or for publication? Do you own the copyright to the photos?
I may share photos I’ve taken of your wedding as examples. However, after you receive your proofs, the photos are yours to do with as you please. You own them!
